Multi-Functional
Solar shading, (also known as Brise Soleil), serves multi purposes, its main one being to deflect solar rays from a building or simply enhance the architectural aesthetics of it.

|
Comfort
For a working building such as an office block, school or hospital, the optimum summer time working temperature should be approximately 24/30 degrees centigrade.
During the hotter summer months solar radiation can increase internal temperatures to as high as 35/40 degrees centigrade.

Economical
Solar shading can help to minimise heat build up. It reduces the need for air-conditioning and thereby conserves energy.
It improves the working environment whilst at the same time lowering bills and in the cooler months solar shading provides an effective screen from solar glare when the sun angle is lower and tends to shine directly through windows.

Solar shading can also enhance the appearance of a building by making an architectural feature of its panels. It can mask any unwanted infrastructure and break up or cover large or open areas.
